For this project myself, Joey Scampion, and fellow Audio Production student Simon Rogers, have approached the Animation students to see if we could get assigned to be the sound team for their animation.
Brett Coulson came forward with a rather interesting premise of a non dialogue kids cartoon about a boy who tries to get out of detention in school. As soon as we heard this idea we knew it would be an interesting project to attempt and agreed to work on sound for Brett’s project.
We agreed to meet with Brett once a week to work on what kind of sound effects and soundtracks Brett would want behind his animation and I shall be documenting these meetings and our progress in the project, including obstacles we’ll have to overcome and all the necessary research in to this style of animation and sound.
